Expand description

An RPC message separated from transport framing.

Contains the XDR-encoded RPC body (call or reply) without the 4-byte TCP record mark. Wave 2 will use this struct to dispatch between TCP record-mark framing and RDMA rdma_msg framing (RFC 8166).

Fields§

§xid: u32

Transaction identifier – echoed in the server reply.

§body: Vec<u8>

XDR-encoded RPC body (no record mark, no RDMA header).
